Veneers

Veneers are placed over the front teeth to change color or shape of your teeth. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic cemented over the front of your teeth. Little or no anesthesia is needed.

The procedure requires Dr. Tran to take an impression of your teeth. Dr. Tran will fabricate temporary veneers to fit your teeth based on your facial symmetry, lip line, your bite and any of picture of your favorite smile. You wear the temporary veneers for two weeks. After that, if you satisfy with the shade and shape of the temporary veneers, Dr. Tran will remove a thin layer from your teeth to compensate for the added thickness of the veneer. An impression of the prepared teeth is made to send to the lab for fabrication of the final porcelain veneer. When the final veneers are tried on your teeth and the fit is perfect, Dr. Tran will cement the veneers permanently onto your teeth.
